entrants according to their ability; the best competitor in the first place,
followed by the others in order of merit.
The Jury will decide the merit groups on the base of this information.
Art. 10

As the draw will be made by computer, it is absolutely essential that
the athletes are listed on the entry form in the order you wish them to be
entered for the draw. No changes will be accepted during the team leader's
meeting. It is also essential that the names of the competitors are written
clearly (typed or in capitals), indicating first the surname and then the name.
In Autumn/2009 Topolino was authorized by FIS to introduce a new starting order for a test in the
2010 season. The reasons for the test are for greater safety, provide a better race for all athletes
and to respect the international participation that is so important for FIS Children's Competitions.
The following outlines the detail for the draw of the athletes:
- Each starting group permits one athlete per participating nation. In the case of double quota of
the nation's organizers, the athletes of the national "B" will start at the end of each category;
- Each National Federation must identify the starting order of the athletes they enter on the entry
form:
- There will be a "merit group" sub-group within each starting group which will consist of an
athletes from nations who placed in the top 15 placings of the previous edition of the competition.
This sub-group will be drawn as the first 15;
- The second sub-group of each starting group will be composed of athletes of other nations who
were not ranked in the top 15 of the previous year;
- The same procedure will be used for the 2nd and 3rd starting group and any other groups until
all athletes have a starting number;
The last group consists of the athletes of the organizing nation, in double quota: If the number of
competing athletes exceeds the double quota a separate group will be drown after the entire
starting field in the same procedure as group 1:
- This method is used for all events and categories (CHI1_F, CHI1_M, CHI2_F, CHI2_M)
To further enhance safety, a longer time interval will be used by Jury after the last competitor in the
departure of each group and the first of the next group.
In case of re-run of an athlete, a longer time interval before the re-run and following the start of the
re-run will be used by Jury.
A DRAW'S EXAMPLE IS SHOW IN ATTACHED DOCUMENT.
Art. 11

Any complaints must be presented as set out in art. 640-641-642-643-644 (I.C.R. 2008).
